According to Google blog they say ” We focused on building an easy-to-use sharing experience that richly integrates photos, videos and links, and makes it easy to share publicly or privately.” At present Gmail has more than 170 million users worldwide who use gmail as their default email application which is nearly half as the facebook user base is nearly 400 million,so we need wait and see can the buzz from Google can make a real big difference in social networking space
