Windows 7 gets the official name.
The windows vista successor, is code-named “Windows 7” has been finally named and will be launched in the year end In a posting on the Windows Vista blog, Microsoft Vice President Mike Nash said the Windows 7
will be the seventh release of the operating system (according to Microsoft’s rather complicated numbering rationale).The Windows 7 release is tentatively scheduled for late 2009, but Microsoft handed out it’s beta versions.
